This Week's Video Programme

03/08/26 - 09/08/26

Which yoga style should I choose?

Beginners / Improvers Yoga

Bitesize Hamstrings & Glutes - 14 mins

With the way the calendar falls this month, we have an extra week before our next 4-week theme begins in August, so I'm slotting in a new bitesize session. We are focusing on the hamstrings and glutes today. These two work as a team to support your lower back and knees. To get the best out of your hamstrings - both in strength and flexibility - we need to make sure the glutes are awake and doing their fair share.

Gentle Yoga

Hips & Adductors - 34 mins

A gentle, spacious practice dedicated entirely to freeing up your hips and inner thighs. If you are holding tightness in your lower body, today's movements are designed to unravel tension, reduce restriction and restore mobility.

Beginners / Improvers Yoga

Pelvic Ease - 33 mins

Today’s class focuses on the pelvis. We’ll target the glutes, piriformis, psoas, and pelvic floor, which all attach directly to various parts of the pelvis. Our goal is to bring ease to this area by balancing these muscles so length matches strength.

Beginners / Improvers Yoga

Twisty Flow - 33 mins

We love a good twist! Today’s session focuses on thoracic spine and shoulder mobility, exploring how creating space in one helps unlock the other.

Hatha Yoga

Wide Open - 39 mins

Let's move to unhunch, unwind and open up expansive space across the chest. As always in our hatha classes we integrate plenty of strength work, and our upper back will benefit today from movements which activate the muscles between the shoulder blades. We'll close our practice standing taller and feeling realigned.

Hatha Flow Yoga

Tree and Butterfly - 31 mins

We'll be having fun with tree and butterfly pose today, integrating these external hip positions into various movements. Improving hip rotation benefits the entire body. When the hips move well, you avoid "borrowing" mobility from other areas, preventing your knees or lower back from overworking due to a lack of movement at the hips themselves.

Vinyasa Yoga

Calves & Ankles - 38 mins

Strong calves provide a solid anchor for our ankles, helping to prevent unwanted wobbling. However, we also need our ankles to be fully mobile to absorb shock. Today’s session will focus on building the right blend of stability and mobility.
