We'll be using this as a tactile biofeedback tool to help maintain a neutral lower back and engage the abdominal muscles with precision.

One for the side body and shoulders. Through sweeping arm movements and side bends, we'll create space between the ribs, open into the muscles of the side core and free up the shoulder joints.

Discover the strength that lies within your body's inner layer. The spotlight in on multifidus, which is one of our deep back muscles and a crucial stabiliser that runs the length of the spine. We'll work to active multifidus with the aim of enhancing our spinal stability.

We're getting creative with butterfly pose today. At times, we'll hold the pose in a longer, static way; other times we'll make it dynamic, and also use it as a way to transition between other poses. Our hips will be well oiled by the end of this one!
