This Week's Video Programme

12/10/26 - 18/10/26

Which yoga style should I choose?

October Theme: Autumn

Gentle Yoga & Mindfulness Meditation

Senses of Autumn - 27 mins

This cosy session combines gentle yoga movement and mindfulness meditation. We begin with floor-based stretches and movements to help us unwind and focus. Then we'll move into an autumnal sensory meditation designed to help us slow down and feel grounded as the season changes. Have blankets and cushions handy for extra comfort!

Gentle Yoga

A Breath of Fresh Air - 29 mins

The goal of this class is to experience deeper, unrestricted breaths. We will create physical room for the lungs to expand by unlocking tension in the ribcage, shoulders, chest, and back.

Beginners / Improvers Yoga

Built from Within - 1 hr

The deep core and lower back muscles form a functional unit that helps to protect our spine by absorbing impact and distributing force across the torso. This area is the target of today's 1-hr session. We'll be moving to build strength and adaptability in the core and stability in the lower back.

Beginners / Improvers Yoga

Pendulum Swing - 33 mins

Today's session targets the upper back, shoulder blades and shoulder joints. We'll be bringing in soft, swaying pendulum-style movements of the arms to loosen tension in the muscles, and gently increase mobility.

Hatha Yoga

Flex to the Moon - 49 mins

Our focus for this practice is hip flexion. We'll find precision in this hip action, and integrate it into our yoga poses in different ways. We'll start off with simple movements and build up the challenge progressively. There'll be an option in half moon to add some hip flexion in the top leg too!

Hatha Flow Yoga

Knee Stability - 30 mins

Our focus today is on enhancing knee stability through movements that help build strong hamstrings. By strengthening these muscles at the back of the leg, we provide an essential counterbalance to the quadriceps, helping to stabilise the knees from behind.

Vinyasa Yoga

Side Plank Special - 34 mins

As far as vinyasa classes go, I feel like this session is fairly easy going. While we do build up to a side plank, much of our time is spent gradually awakening the side core. Through fluid flows, we will explore accessible variations of side plank to prep the body.
