Guided Relaxation & Mindfulness
August Theme: Reverie
Restful Reverie - 20 mins
Welcome to this guided relaxation practice designed to soothe your body, calm your mind, and allow you to drift into a peaceful state of weightless reverie. The session is fully reclined and includes a small amount of very gentle movement, a progressive muscle relaxation and mindfulness practice.
Gentle Yoga
Expanding Your Horizons - 44 mins
If you've been locked into a single position today that has led to physical tension, or if you've been mentally locked in and hyper-focused on tasks, this session is designed to help you reset. The aim is to open up space in both body and mind, and settle into a more relaxed, expansive state.
Beginners / Improvers Yoga
Pelvic Ease - 33 mins
Today’s class focuses on the pelvis. We’ll target the glutes, piriformis, psoas, and pelvic floor, which all attach directly to various parts of the pelvis. Our goal is to bring ease to this area by balancing these muscles so length matches strength.
Beginners / Improvers Yoga
Side Core Essentials - 25 mins
This class, which targets the side core, is designed to build strong, resilient obliques. It includes some side body stretches for a lovely release in this area too.
Hatha Yoga
Upper Body Charge & Release - 44 mins
We have a dual intention for this upper body-focused class. We'll integrate movements designed to charge the upper back and shoulders, building heat and strength. We'll introduce mobility work and stretches too, to release tension from the shoulders and create space in the upper spine.
Hatha Flow Yoga
Full Circle - 29 mins
This class is called 'Full Circle' for two reasons. First, we’re physically travelling all the way around our mat today. Second, we’ll be starting and ending the session in the exact same way, so the whole practice comes full circle too.
Vinyasa Yoga
Anti-Stiffness - 34 mins
Staying still for long periods can cause our joints and muscles to feel stiff and tight. We don't always need a full hour of yoga to reduce stiffness: short, frequent movement breaks throughout our day or week can make a big difference. So if you have 34 minutes to spare, we'll spend this time moving our body with the aim of easing muscle tension, increasing circulation, and reducing stiffness.
