Slow Flow & Restorative Yoga
August Theme: Reverie
A Space for Reverie - 32 mins
We start this practice with a twisty themed slow yoga flow to shake off our day, and create space in our mind and body so that we can really melt into our restorative pose at the end of the session. There, we'll sink into a state of softness and a quiet sense of calm.
Gentle Yoga
Hips: Strengthen & Restore - 30 mins
I've designed today's class to provide balanced care for our hips. First, we'll strengthen our hips through controlled joint articulations and progressive mobility work. Afterwards, we'll close the practice with relaxing restorative yoga, which can be so helpful for releasing tension linked to a frazzled nervous system!
Beginners / Improvers Yoga
Lower Back & Deep Core Care - 44 mins
The target of our movement practice today is enhancing stability in the lower back and deep core. We will also bring plenty of attention to functional diaphragmatic breathing. This plays a key role in helping to ease muscular tension around the lower spine.
Beginners / Improvers Yoga
Upper Body Ease - 1 hr
Daily stress or tight postures can build up as tension in the upper body. Today, we will move to melt away muscle knots, open up space in the shoulders and neck, and replace that heavy tightness with a deep sense of ease.
Hatha Yoga
Core, Coordination & Calm - 1 hr
The goal of our movement practice today is to build an adaptable, functional core and have some fun challenging our coordination in the process! We'll then transition into a calming cool down, followed by shavasana to close the practice feeling peaceful and grounded.
Hatha Flow Yoga
Awaken the Glutes - 34 mins
If you've needed to spend a lot of the day sitting, your glutes might be a bit snoozy! We'll awaken them gradually through the class, increasing the challenge and load-bearing demands progressively through the session.
Vinyasa Yoga
Wild and Winding Flow - 46 mins
We've got lots of lovely twists coming up today, and we'll be rotating all the way into Wild Thing in our final sequence. To get ready, we'll fire up the glutes, lower back and side core in preparation for our wild and winding flow!
