Bitesize Yoga
Beginners / Improvers
Side Core Strength - 20 mins
A short session to target the side core. Strong obliques mean a more resilient spine, as these muscles help to put on the brakes if any sudden, unwanted rotation occurs, so that the lower back and spinal discs don't end up absorbing the impact instead.
Gentle Yoga
Cactus - 39 mins
This class centres around cactus pose and complementary movements designed to help us stand tall through the spine. We'll be creating space and length in the upper back and neck, broadening across the chest and dissolving tension for a more open posture.
Beginners / Improvers Yoga
Spotlight on the Knees - 1 hr
Our knees do a lot during yoga classes, but it's not often that they are in the spotlight. We'll bring awareness to the knees as a hinge joint, with their primary motion being flexion and extension. We'll mobilise the knees during the session and aim to increase knee stability via hamstring strengthening too.
Tip: Pair this session with the class "Anchored" this week. It will be a lovely complement that focuses on the adductors to build lateral stability for the knees.
Beginners / Improvers Yoga
Anchored - 34 mins
We have lots of lovely movements for the adductors coming up in this session. When these inner thigh muscles function well they contribute to lower body stability, giving us a strong foundation in our movements and helping us feel anchored.
Hatha Yoga
Spirals and Shoulder Openers - 48 mins
We're working on one of my favourite pairings today: the mid-spine and shoulders. We'll twist and spiral to build thoracic mobility. This creates a great foundation for your shoulders to move freely.
Hatha Flow Yoga
Lean Into It - 36 mins
This class gets its name from a fun, fresh transition where we slowly lean from a standing balance into half moon pose. Today's flow is also a little invitation to trust your foundation and lean into the strength, balance, and stability you've cultivated through your ongoing yoga practice.
Vinyasa Yoga
Body Control - 34 mins
Today's flow focuses on precision, balance and strength. When these elements connect our movement feels steady and controlled. This can help enhance our performance in other sports, and make our day-to-day activities feel effortless too!
